Popular Shisha Cafes in Istanbul
I love smoking shisha. And what if it's prepared well? Then, my joy knows no bounds. I've tried shisha in many cafes so far. But there are two cafes that I always frequent for their good shisha. Let me list them in order… We went to one of them on the recommendation of a colleague from work. I've been smoking shisha there ever since. The place is on İncirli Caddesi in Bakırköy. If you ask for the Dikilitaş stop, they'll show you immediately. Although it's an expensive place, it's a place worth visiting just for its shisha.
Son Osmanlı Cafe
We didn't go to this cafe on a friend's recommendation, but rather spontaneously. We had met up with colleagues from work and were wondering where to go when we found ourselves in this cafe and immediately ordered a shisha. Although it's not as good as Cafe’de Keyff, the shisha here is also good. Don't be misled by my comparison, because there isn't much difference between them. This place is located on Vatan Caddesi in Fatih. Right next to Migros.
Çorlulu Ali Paşa Medresesi
I've never smoked shisha here before, but I've heard so many praise from different people that I believed it was high quality before even going. I've passed by it many times. The place is quite small but reeks of history. I think it's worth trying. The place is located in Çemberlitaş. Of course, it's not just about the shisha. If you're drinking alone, you need something to keep you occupied, a view to watch. This cafe perhaps has one of the most beautiful views in Istanbul. The cafe, located on the Süleymaniye hill, also has a terrace. The pleasure of watching the Golden Horn and Bosphorus view from this terrace is probably unmatched anywhere else. For now, I have 4 cafes to recommend. If I discover new places over time, I'll add them.
