Neck Pain

One of the most common complaints is neck pain. Stiff necks that occur with neck pain can restrict daily life and prevent many tasks. Neck pain can often radiate to the back and arms. It is beneficial for those experiencing neck pain to first review their beds, pillows, and sleeping positions. It is also useful to check your posture and sitting positions while working at a desk. The longer you work with your neck bent, the more your neck pain will increase. When neck pain develops due to such situations, it will disappear within a few days by changing the conditions.

Posture is Important

The most common type of neck pain is what we know as mechanical neck pain. It can develop due to poor posture or sitting disorder, or it can occur in situations like car accidents or injuries. Many people who work at a desk suffer from mechanical neck pain. The pain can radiate to the arms along with the head and shoulders. In mechanical neck pain, people leaning forward while working or maintaining a bent neck posture for a long time are effective. Reading books, typing on a computer keyboard, doing needlework, or watching TV while lying down, as well as excessive sports, can cause these types of neck pain.
