Through a step-by-step operation, the scammers were apprehended. The scammers instructed the assistant to call them 'mom' during their phone conversations and began tracking her. The assistant, followed meticulously to the bank, gave no indication throughout the entire operation.
Scammers' New Methods Led to Their Capture
The scammers identified themselves as police and prosecutors, but they couldn't fool the assistant. They went to the bank, withdrew the money, and arrived at the address specified by the scammers. However, the scammers did not realize this was an operation. The scammer who received the money was caught red-handed by the police. However, the other scammers could not be reached. The apprehended scammer claimed he was coerced into the act due to threats against himself and his family. The arrested scammer was taken into custody for questioning.
