İzmir Industrial Sites
There are industrial sites in Izmir where manufacturers and sellers from many sectors come together.
Let's take a look at them;
1) İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone
Atatürk Organized Industry, located in the Çiğli district of Izmir, is an industrial zone with a size of 6,240,000 square meters, where a total of 584 companies from many sectors such as food, tobacco, clothing, paper and paper products, coal, refined petroleum manufacturing, basic pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical-related product manufacturing, beverages, textile products, chemical, rubber, plastic, metal industry, electrical equipment, computer, electronic and optical products, and furniture operate.
The industrial site located in the Karabağlar district of Izmir province is a region where companies such as automotive, furniture and decoration, rent-a-car, lathe, plastic, etc. are located.
The industrial site, located in the Bornova district, is an industrial site with machine industry as its main focus, as well as spare parts, industrial industry, bazaar shops, banks, hydraulic and pneumatic, automotive, restaurants, and buffets.
2) 3rd Industrial Site
Also located in the Bornova district, this industrial site was established in 1972 on an area of 108,500 square meters and consists of 509 workplaces. The region, which is mainly focused on automotive, has spare parts, buffets, and similar workplaces.
Ata Industrial Site, adjacent to Atatürk Organized Industrial Site, was built in 1998 and established on an area of 91,000 square meters. The industrial site, which has 676 workplaces, includes workplaces such as auto repair, auto body and paint, machine manufacturing, lathe, and milling.
Located in the Bornova district, this industrial site serves as the largest industrial site in Izmir, with a focus on automotive, spare parts, electricity, body paint, restaurants, radiators, air conditioning, and lubricating oils.
It is one of the two metal plating industrial sites in Turkey, located in the Pınarbaşı neighborhood of Bornova district. The industrial site, which has 72 workplaces, also has a treatment plant.
