The accuracy rate of urine pregnancy tests varies depending on when the test is performed. The further the test is performed after a missed period, the higher the accuracy rate of the test. As is known, a missed period is considered the earliest sign of pregnancy. There is a big difference between a woman experiencing a missed period doing the test 1 day later versus 5 days later.
